Geeks Anywhere LLC is a veteran-owned IT services company based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in operation since 2008. We provide computer repair, laptop repair, phone repair, virus removal, data recovery, networking, UTM firewall setup, cybersecurity consulting, and managed IT support for residential customers and small businesses throughout the Greater Baton Rouge area.

2. Services

Scope of Services

Geeks Anywhere provides IT services as described on our website and agreed upon at the time of service. Services may be performed on-site at your location, at a designated service location, or remotely depending on the nature of the work and mutual agreement.

Service Quotes

We provide upfront quotes before beginning work. All quotes are based on an assessment of your specific device, system, or situation. The final cost may change if additional issues are discovered during the repair that were not apparent at the time of the initial assessment. We will notify you of any material changes before proceeding.

Our approach: Ty Bettison personally assesses every job. We give you an upfront quote before we start — no surprises. If the scope changes, we tell you first.

Scheduling and Appointments

Appointments may be scheduled by phone at 225-235-0846 or online through our scheduling tool. We ask for at least 2 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Missed appointments without notice may result in a trip charge for on-site visits.

Remote Services

For remote support services, you authorize Geeks Anywhere to temporarily access your device for the purpose of diagnosing and resolving the agreed-upon issue. Remote access sessions are conducted securely and limited to the scope of the requested service. You may terminate the remote session at any time.

3. Payment Terms

Payment

Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in writing prior to the work beginning. We accept cash, check, and major credit/debit cards. Invoices for business accounts are due within 15 days of issuance unless otherwise agreed.

No Pricing Listed Online

We do not publish fixed prices on our website because every job is different. Pricing depends on the specific device, the nature of the issue, parts required, and time involved. Call us at 225-235-0846 for a quote on your specific situation.

Parts and Materials

If parts or materials are required for your repair, we will obtain your approval on parts cost before ordering or installing. Parts sourced specifically for your repair may be non-refundable once ordered.

4. Data and Device Responsibility

Backup Your Data

You are responsible for backing up your data before bringing a device in for service. While we take every precaution to protect your data during repairs, data loss can occur during any repair procedure involving storage media. Geeks Anywhere is not liable for data loss that occurs during the normal course of a repair.

Important: Always back up your important files before any repair. If you need help with backup before your repair, ask us — we can assist.

Device Condition

You represent that you own the device being repaired or have proper authorization from the owner to have the device serviced. Geeks Anywhere is not responsible for pre-existing damage, cosmetic issues unrelated to the repair, or issues that were not part of the agreed-upon service.

Abandoned Devices

Devices left at our location for more than 30 days after completion of service (or after you have been notified that the repair is not feasible) may be considered abandoned. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you before taking any action on an abandoned device.

5. Warranty on Services

We stand behind our work. Labor performed by Geeks Anywhere is warranted for 30 days from the date of service against defects in workmanship related to the specific service performed. This warranty does not cover:

To the fullest extent permitted by Louisiana law, Geeks Anywhere's total liability to you for any claim arising from our services or this website shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Geeks Anywhere shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, lost profits, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
